Technology serves as the backbone that enables non-profit organisations to not only survive but also thrive. Hence, understanding the digital maturity of one hospice relative to other hospices, as well as the wider non-profit sector, is a key perspective for technology leaders in the sector.
Hospice UK have collaborated with Total Enterprise Solutions (ForGood.Tech) and Smartdesc, to create this Digital Maturity Assessment. The aim is to provide Hospice UK’s members with an insight into their current technology position and present potential opportunities for their digital transformation journey.
It provides a perspective across nine key areas of technology which are relevant to formulating an organisations’ digital strategy and provides recommendations for consideration in each area. Where a significant delta is apparent between the numbers reported between the wider nonprofit sector and the hospice sector, then these are also discussed.
